DESCRIPTION:  \nPascal Klewer – Trompete\nJulius Windisch – Piano & Komposition\nSofia Eftychidou – Bass\nMarius Wankel – Schlagzeug\n \n\n(english: see below) \nInformationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\n\nimmerweiter © Nasia Papavasiliou\n„Diese Band verfolgt den Gedanken einer Utopie“\nJulius Windisch\, Bandleader\, immerweiter\n \n\nStillstand ist für den Berliner Bandleader\, Komponisten und Jazz-Pianisten Julius Windisch noch nie eine Option gewesen: „Der Prozess des Musikmachens soll für mich immer weiter gehen und nie stillstehen.“ Nach Stationen in Bern\, Amsterdam und Kopenhagen hat er mit Berlin einen Ort gefunden\, an dem er sich künstlerisch am wohlsten fühlt.\nIn its own pace ist der output von seiner aktuellen Working Band\, nachdem Windisch bereits drei Alben mit Trio- und Quartettformationen eingespielt hat.\nSowohl der Albumtitel\, als auch der Name der Formation sind programmatisch zu verstehen: getragen wird immerweiter von einem starken Gemeinschaftsethos\, das auf der Einspielung und live durch Virtuosität\, Intensität und Komplexität überzeugt. Alle Musiker*innnen des Ensembles verpflichten sich einem organischen Wachstumsprozess\, fairen Feedbackregeln und einem konstruktiven Umgang mit den eigenen Stärken und Schwächen.\nDie Anstrengung\, die Windischs vielseitiges und schwer zu spielendes Repertoire einfordert – und das gegenseitige unbedingte Vertrauen in einander – führen zu kreativen Höhenflügen\, bei denen keine Einzelperson im Fokus steht\, sondern der Gesamtklang: „Wir sind als Band sehr stark zusammengewachsen und wir reflektieren immer wieder\, was wir gut und nicht gut fanden. Genauso sind wir gezwungen\, uns jedes Mal maximal anzustrengen und sehr aufmerksam auf einander zu hören. Das fühlt sich erfüllend und mutig an\, das ist das\, was ich an meiner Arbeit liebe.“ \nhttps://juliuswindisch.com/ \nWindischs Arbeit als Bandleader\, Komponist und Pianist ist politisch: Themen wie Antidiskriminierung\, Klimagerechtigkeit\, der Abbau von Hierarchien treiben sein kreatives Schaffen an\, was sich unmittelbar in der Haltung ausdrückt\, mit der er seine Stücke komponiert: „Als Musiker bleibt mir leider nichts anderes übrig\, als ab und zu wählen zu gehen und sonst Musik zu schreiben\, die meine Emotionen ausdrückt. All the musicians in the ensemble are committed to an organic growth process\, fair feedback rules and a constructive approach to their own strengths and weaknesses.\nThe effort demanded by Windisch’s diverse and difficult-toplay repertoire and the mutual unconditional trust in each other lead to creative flights of fancy in which no individual is the focus but rather the overall sound: „We have grown very much together as a band. We always reflect on what we liked and didn’t like.
