In seinen Werken erforscht er Resonanz\, Fokus\, Klangfarbe\, Textur und Stille. Genreübergreifend bewegt sich seine Praxis fließend zwischen freier Improvisation\, zeitgenössischer Musik\, Klangkunst\, experimenteller elektronischer Musik und Noise. Er ist in der Kölner und Kopenhagener Szene mit verschiedenen eigenen Projekten sowie als Konzertveranstalter aktiv. Er lotet die Klangmöglichkeiten des Klaviers aus und hat einen persönlichen Stil entwickelt\, der ein differenziertes Repertoire an erweiterten Spieltechniken und Vorbereitungen mit einschließt. Als Komponist schreibt Heid für Ensembles zeitgenössischer Musik und für sein Ensemble Funkstille. Seine Kollaborationen erstrecken sich auch auf interdisziplinäre Projekte mit Tänzern sowie auf Klanginstallationen. \nhttp://dariusheid.com/ \nAnthony Greminger (*1994) ist ein deutscher Schlagzeuger\, Sounddesigner und Produzent im Bereich Indie\, Electronica und zeitgenössischer Jazz. 2012-2017 studierte er an der HFMT Köln und war 18/19 Mitglied des Bundesjazzorchesters.\nNeben dem Projekt Maika (Nominierung Newcomerin des Jahres 2025 Deutscher Jazzpreis)\, wo er aktuell als Co-Produzent und Schlagzeuger tätig ist\, arbeitet er zudem Live und als Produzent am Electronica-Projekt Jump!. Mit diesem veröffentlichte er 2024 zusammen mit der für Shape+ nominierten Sängerin Thea Soti aus Paris und dem Kölner Synth-Spieler Darius Heid eine erste EP mit dem Titel Jump Out of Burning Cars. Between soundscapes\, rhythm\, noise\, and silence\, they create music that evolves in the moment and deliberately transcends genre boundaries. Three musicians from the Cologne scene\, each coming from different musical backgrounds\, seek a common language that bridges improvisation\, contemporary music\, electronica\, and noise. \n\nDarius Heid\, born in Aachen in 1999\, is a Cologne-based composer\, improviser\, pianist\, and sound artist. In his works\, he explores resonance\, focus\, timbre\, texture\, and silence. His practice spans genres\, moving fluidly between free improvisation\, contemporary music\, sound art\, experimental electronic music\, and noise. He is active in the Cologne and Copenhagen scenes with various projects of his own as well as in concert organizing. He explores the sonic possibilities of the piano and has developed a personal style that incorporates a nuanced repertoire of extended playing techniques and preparations. His collaborations also extend to interdisciplinary projects with dancers as well as sound installations. \nAnthony Greminger (b. 1994) is a German drummer\, sound designer\, and producer working in the genres of indie\, electronica\, and contemporary jazz. From 2012 to 2017\, he studied at the HFMT Cologne and was a member of the Bundesjazzorchester in 2018–2019.\nIn addition to the “Maika” project (nominated for Newcomer of the Year at the 2025 German Jazz Prize)\, where he currently serves as co-producer and drummer\, he also performs live and works as a producer on the electronica project “Jump!”. With this project\, he released his first EP in 2024\, titled “Jump Out of Burning Cars\,” together with Paris-based singer Thea Soti—a Shape+ nominee—and Cologne-based synth player Darius Heid.
