Er schleudert keine Zitate\, er versorgt uns nicht mit einer unübersichtlichen Notenflut\, er präpariert das Klavier nicht\, zupft nicht im Bauch des Instruments herum und trommelt nicht auf dem Rahmen.\nEr setzt sich hin und beginnt kommentarlos zu spielen. Und das ziemlich gut. Er setzt die Töne mit Bedacht\, kontrastiert die Höhen\, lässt die Ideen kommen und gehen\, verdichtet und entwirrt\, rast dahin und entschleunigt\, immer mit Mass und Ziel\, immer zur richtigen Zeit\, ist immer glaubhaft und authentisch. Wenn es genug ist\, hört er einfach auf\, ohne dramatischen Schlussakkord\, ein kurzer Lauf nach oben und Schluss.
