Der Pianist\, der am 29. August 2025 80 Jahre alt wird\, steuert eigene Kompositionen\, die durch singbare Melodik gekennzeichnet sind\, sowie Bearbeitungen von Standards bei. Das Titelstück schliesslich bietet ausgiebig Gelegenheit zur freien Improvisation in diversen Besetzungen. The pianist\, who will turn 80 years old on the 29th of August 2025\, contributes his own compositions\, which are characterized by singable melodies\, as well as arrangements of standards. Finally\, the title piece offers ample opportunity for free improvisation in various instrumentations. A folk song arrangement and an adaptation of a dance by Schubert also have their place in a varied program. \nAfter the concert late on Saturday afternoon (the concert will start already at 5pm CEST)\, there will be ample opportunity to congratulate the jubilarian and – even afterwards – to toast him. \n
