Frank Wingold kreiert mit seinem Trio eine Musik\, die in Sachen kammermusikalischer Jazz neue Wege geht. Die Stimmen der drei Instrumente umschlingen sich\, aus der Tiefe\, aus der Höhe\, flächig\, motivisch\, rhythmisch\, eruptiv\, und bilden ein Gewebe\, eine Textur aus komplementären Elementen\, bei denen das Ergebnis mehr als die Summe der Einzelteile ergibt. With his trio\, Frank Wingold creates music that breaks new ground in terms of chamber jazz. The voices of the three instruments entwine\, from the depths\, from the heights\, two-dimensionally\, motivically\, rhythmically\, eruptively\, forming a fabric\, a texture of complementary elements\, where the result is more than the sum of the individual parts. The traditional division of roles between accompanist and soloist is replaced here by an interweaving of all levels into complementary organic structures and unheard kaleidoscopic sound formations. \nAt the LOFT\, the trio will present for the first time the currently developed program with new compositions for the next CD\, which will be recorded in the LOFT’s recording studio shortly after the concert.
