Felix vermischt in den Stücken seine vielseitigen Einflüsse\, die er als Sideman sammeln konnte und stellt sich nicht in den Vordergrund\, es geht vielmehr um einen Klangkörper\, der nur durch die fünf Individuen zustande kommen kann. \nhttps://www.felix.henkelhausen.net/ \nFelix Henkelhausen wurde 1995 in Oldenburg geboren und lernte von Kindheit an Klavier und Cello\, später fand er Interesse am Kontrabass absolvierte noch während des Abiturs ein Jungstudium bei Prof. Detlev Beier an der HfK Bremen. \nVon 2014 -2019 studierte Felix am Jazz-Institut Berlin bei Prof. Greg Cohen und Marc Muellbauer\, andere Mentoren waren Jim Black\, Drew Gress und Robert Landfermann. \nTrotz seines jungen Alters hat Felix mit vielen national und international renommierten Musikern gespielt wie: Nate Wooley\, Dave Liebmann\, Marc Copland\, Toby Delius\, Lotte Anker\, Andrea Parkins\, Eric Mcpherson\, Jochen Rueckert\, Philipp Gropper´s Philm\, Hubert Nuss\, Jim Black\, Pablo Held\, Oli Steidle\, Gebhard Ullmann\, Wanja Slavin\, Peter Schlamp und vielen anderen. \n\nWanja Slavin – alto saxophone\nUli Kempendorff – tenor saxophone\nFelix Henkelhausen – bass\, composition\nValentin Gerhardus – piano\nMarius Wankel – drums \nPlease read our infos concerning concerts with an audience during the Corona pandemic here. Information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \n\nIn November 2021 the debut album Misanthropic Tendencies of the 26 years young bassist Felix Henkelhausen was released.\nThe compositions are a collection of pieces written during the first five years of his stay in Berlin and move between rhythmic density\, lyrical colorations and collective improvisations.
