Die 1997 geborene Lettin\, die für ihren innovativen Sound bekannt ist\, verleiht dem Instrument neue Klangfarben und Perspektiven und schafft Musik\, die Ohr\, Verstand und Herz gleichermaßen anspricht.\nIhre Karriere begann mit ihrem Debütalbum Intertwined (2023)\, das während eines Aufenthalts im BIMHUIS entstand und für einen Edison Award nominiert wurde. Seitdem hat Zirina vier Alben als Bandleaderin veröffentlicht und sich eine starke Präsenz in der internationalen Jazzszene erarbeitet. Mit ihrem Trio tourte sie durch Europa und spielte bei Festivals vom North Sea Jazz Festival bis zum Oslo Jazz Festival.
