Die Herausforderung: Aufbruch in den leeren Raum\, den es mit Klängen zu gestalten gilt.  \n\n\n\nDie Helmut Lachenmann zugeschriebene Sentenz „Schönheit als Verweigerung von Gewohnheit“ charakterisiert auch die Musik dieses Ensembles. Es führt Ideen der Projekte von Eckard Vossas fort\, sich auf das Phänomen Klang und seine spektralen Transformationen sinnlich einzulassen. In freier Improvisation loten die Musiker das Potential von Schallereignissen\, die mit „natürlichen„\, „akustischen“ Instrumenten erzeugt werden\, in der Interaktion mit elektronisch bearbeiteten oder synthetisierten Sounds aus\, sich spielerisch und experimentell mit den auftauchenden Klangstrukturen abseits der gewöhnlichen Regeln auseinandersetzend.\n\n\n\nAusgangspunkt der einzelnen Stücke sind zufällig ausgewählte\, vorgefundene oder vorprogrammierte Ready-Made Sounds\, d.h. generierte oder kombinierte Strukturen aus synthetisierten Klangquellen oder Klangtransformationen\, die so parametrisiert sind\, dass live über eine Vielzahl von Controllern die Sound-Charakteristiken drastisch verändert werden können. Nothing is predetermined or determined. The challenge: setting off into the empty space that needs to be shaped with sounds.\n\n\n\nThe phrase “beauty as a refusal of habit”\, attributed to Helmut Lachenmann\, also characterizes the music of this ensemble. It continues the ideas of Eckard Vossas‘ projects to engage sensually with the phenomenon of sound and its spectral transformations. In free improvisation\, the musicians explore the potential of sound events generated with “natural”\, “acoustic” instruments in interaction with electronically processed or synthesized sounds\, playfully and experimentally exploring the emerging sound structures beyond the usual rules. \n\n\nThe starting point of the individual pieces are randomly selected\, found or pre-programmed ready-made sounds\, i.e. generated or combined structures from synthesized sound sources or sound transformations that are parameterized in such a way that the sound characteristics can be drastically changed live via a variety of controllers. A ready-made sound thus becomes the primordial soup of a spectrum of sound spins developing in real time in the spontaneous communication of the musicians involved\, organic\, expressive\, sometimes wild\, in search of the poetry of sound. \n  \n
