Set: CAJLAN-WISSEL-NILLESEN + WISSEL&LYTTON \neine mathematisch und musikalisch interessante Konstellation\nWir sind gespannt auf vielfältige Kombinationen…\n2+3=4 2+3=1+1+1+1 3+2=2+2 2+3=1 2+3=1+3 2+3=1+1+2 2+3=2² \nDušica Cajlan-Wissel – prepared piano\nEtienne Nillesen – extended snare drum\nGeorg Wissel – prepared alto sax \nDas Trio C-W-N überzeugt mit faszinierendem\, einfallsreichem\, lebhaftem und feinsinnigem Spiel.\nCAJLAN-WISSEL-NILLESEN arbeiten kontinuierlich an der Weiterentwicklung ihrer konzentrierten Ensemblesprache der freien Improvisation und stellen dabei die Qualitäten von Klang\, Ton und Geräusch mit offenen Formen\, präzise ausformulierten Strukturen und akzentuierten Rhythmen ins Zentrum ihres Zusammenspiels.\nDas Premierenkonzert von C-W-N im September 2016 wurde live im Großen Sendesaal des WDR mitgeschnitten und übertragen.\nIm Januar 2019 erschien die CD ‘fourtyfour fiftythree’. \nDUŠICA CAJLAN-WISSEL\nwurde in Zemun (Jugoslawien\, heute Serbien) geboren und lebt heute in Köln.\nSie studierte Klavier bei Prof. Marian Mika an der Musikhochschule Podgorica (Montenegro) mit Abschluss Konzertdiplom. Im Zuge eines DAAD Stipendiums kam sie 1993 nach Köln\, wo sie bei Prof. Günter Ludwig an der Musikhochschule Köln postgraduierte.\nWährend ihrer Ausbildung gewann sie etliche Preise bei Klavierwettbewerben und vertiefte ihre Studien in Meisterkursen bei Irina Chukowskaja\, Jelena Richter\, Arbo Valdma\, Leonard Hokanson\, Anatol Ugorski und Pierre L. Aimard.\nDušica Cajlan-Wissel begann ihre Konzerttätigkeit 1986 mit Solo- und Kammermusikaufführungen. Seit 1996 wendet sie sich mehr der zeitgenössischen Komposition und auch der Improvisierten Musik zu. Sie ist Mitbegründerin des Trio Musaí\, in dessen Repertoire neben Werken der klassischen Moderne speziell für das Ensemble geschriebene Auftragswerke einen Schwerpunkt darstellen. 2013 unternahm sie mit dem Trio Musaí eine Konzertreise  „Sound Migration“  in die USA\, bei der zu diesem Anlass  geschriebene Werke des  Baltimors Composes Forum zur Uraufführung kamen.\nSeit einiger Zeit rückt die Improvisation wieder stärker in Cajlan-Wissels Fokus\, wie sie 2012 unter anderem mit einem beeindruckenden Konzert beim beim Irtijal Festival in Beirut zeigte.\nSeit 2012 arbeitet  Dusica Cajlan –Wissel  auch mit der Geigerin Gunda Gottschalk als Improvisationsduo ‚Sonata Erronea‘ zusammen. \nDušica Cajlan-Wissel. Soundcloud \n  \nEtienne Nillesen\nis a performer and composer from The Netherlands currently based in Cologne/ Germany.\nWith an instrumental and physical approach\, he explores and pushes the limits of the natural acoustics of the snare drum using conventional playing techniques as well as extended techniques and preparations.\nHis work involves elements of conceptual and spontaneous composition\, structured improvisation\, performance\, and sound poetry.
