Harris © Antonio Porcar\nDie Trioreihe die kunst des trios war über einige Jahre eine Konstante im LOFT\, und die CD-Box mit den Aufnahmen der Konzerte wurden vielfach ausgezeichnet.\nNach langer Pause gibt es nun einen neuen Start der Reihe. \nHans Lüdemann\, vor Kurzem erst zurückgekehrt aus Italien von seiner einjährigen Italien-Residenz als Rompreisträger der Villa Massimo für Komposition\, hat dazu zwei junge kreative Musiker*innen eingeladen: die Schlagzeugerin Savannah Harris aus Brooklyn\, die dem Kölner Publikum von der Cologne Jazzweek bekannt ist\, und den US-amerikanischen Bassisten Nick Dunston\, der seit Kurzem in Berlin lebt. \nhttps://www.nickdunston.org/ \nhttps://www.hansluedemann.de/ \nBeide sind kreative Köpfe und virtuos-experimentierfreudige Spieler*innen\, die trotz ihrer jungen Jahre schon vielfältige Erfahrungen als Improvisator*innen\, Instrumentalist*innen und Komponist*innen mitbringen. Dafür ist im offenen Triokonzept viel Raum\, und diese Impulse werden vom Pianisten des Trios gerne aufgegriffen.\nHans Lüdemann bringt seinerseits sowohl die vielfältigen Erfahrungen aus den vergangenen Begegnungen der kunst des trios mit\, als auch neue Ideen und Kompositionen\, die er am LOFT-eigenen Steinway D und mit den mikrotonalen Erweiterungen seines virtuellen Klaviers realisiert. \nDiesem Trio geht es darum\, die Musik\, sich als Musiker*in selbst und die Zuhörer*innen zu bewegen\, in Bewegung zu bleiben und den einen oder anderen neuen Move zu probieren. There is plenty of room for this in the open trio concept\, and these impulses are readily taken up by the trio’s pianist.\nHans Lüdemann\, for his part\, brings both the diverse experiences from past encounters of the art of the trio as well as new ideas and compositions\, which he realises on LOFT’s own Steinway D and with the microtonal extensions of his virtual piano. \nThis trio is all about moving the music\, themselves as musicians and the listeners\, staying in motion and trying out one or two new moves.
