Oktober 2008 im LOFT\, der Name steht für den eigenen Weg\, das Nicht-Befolgen von Konventionen und Normen. So hat auch der besagte Oberst Stanislaw Petrov im Jahre 1983 durch sein Nicht – Befolgen der offiziellen Regeln im Falle eines Raketenalarms\, einen vermeintlichen Atomangriff auf die Sowjetunion als Fehlalarm entlarvt und somit das Schlimmste verhindert.\nNatürlich geht es dem Quartett um den Gitarristen und Komponisten Sebastian Müller nicht darum\, die Welt zu retten\, sondern vielmehr um einen neuen Weg der Verschmelzung von verschiedenen musikalischen Einflüssen. Die Musik der Band ist dabei einem kontinuierlichen Entwicklungsprozess unterworfen\, der den Bogen vom Jazz hin zu Heavy-Rocksounds spannt\, dabei jedoch keinen vorgegebenen Formeln folgt und darüber hinaus noch offen für weitere Einflüsse bleibt. Information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \nCOLONEL PETROV’S GOOD JUDGEMENT – the band was founded on the occasion of guitarist Sebastian Müller’s diploma concert at the LOFT on 28 October 2008. The name stands for the band’s own path\, the non-observance of conventions and norms. Thus\, in 1983\, the aforementioned Colonel Stanislaw Petrov\, by not following the official rules in the case of a missile alarm\, exposed a supposed nuclear attack on the Soviet Union as a false alarm and thus prevented the worst.\nOf course\, the quartet around guitarist and composer Sebastian Müller is not interested in saving the world\, but rather in finding a new way of merging different musical influences. The band’s music is subject to a continuous development process that spans from jazz to heavy rock sounds\, but does not follow any predefined formulas and remains open to further influences. The play with metric structures is usually in the foreground.\nThe band has just recorded their new album Hypomaniac\, which they will present this evening.
