Auch an diesem Konzertabend zeigt sich hier besonders die Handschrift von John Taylor\, denn dieser hat zweifelsohne die drei Pianisten (aus drei unterschiedlichen Generationen) geprägt. \nLucas Leidinger – Piano\nFlorian Ross – Piano \nDas Duo Ross/Leidinger haben jüngst das Album Checks & Balances veröffentlicht und interpretieren sowohl eigene Kompositionen und Musik von Joni Mitchell. \n\nAirelle Besson – Trompete\nSebastian Sternal – Piano\nJonas Burgwinkel – Schlagzeug \nIm zweiten Set feiert das Trio um Airelles Besson seine Köln-Premiere: Ihr ätherisches Trompetenspiel hat eine gesangliche Qualität\, die in kleinen Formaten ebenso zur Geltung kommt wie vor großem Orchester. Man spürt auf Anhieb die Komplizenschaft\, die Airelle Besson mit ihren Kölner Mitspielern Sebastian Sternal und Jonas Burgwinkel hegt. Der Sound der klassisch geschulten Bläserin\, die schon viele Auszeichnungen bekam\, ist eingebettet in ein durchdachtes und beseeltes\, lichtdurchflutetes Triokonzept.
