Es folgten Aufnahmen mit Improvisator*innen wie Roscoe Mitchell\, Susie Ibarra und Evan Parker sowie klangliche Experimente durch Elektronik und Samples und den Einsatz von Orgel und Moog-Synthesizer.\nZwischen Avantgarde und Tradition\, Ambient und der Techno-Musikszene Detroits entfalteten sich bei Taborn melodische Klangflächen\, die er seit seiner ersten Solo-Aufnahme bei ECM 2001 weiterentwickelt hat.\nSeine Solokonzerte sind improvisatorische Entdeckungsreisen.
