DESCRIPTION:  \nOK Cicada:\nKenny Warren – Trompete\nJeremy Viner – Saxophon\nFlorian Herzog – Bass\nLeif Berger – Schlagzeug\n\n(english: see below) \nWeitere Informationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\n\nIn der Reihe CGNYC – Cologne meets New York lädt der Kölner Bassist Florian Herzog New Yorker Musiker*innen ein\, um in einem ersten Zusammentreffen Konzerte zu gestalten. \nhttps://florianherzog.info/ \nKenny Warren\nDer in Denver\, Colorado\, aufgewachsene Trompeter Kenny Warren wurde früh von lokalen Größen wie Ron Miles\, Al Hood und Greg Gisbert geprägt. 2002 zog er nach New York\, um Jazz an der SUNY Purchase zu studieren\, wo er langjährige musikalische Weggefährten wie Bobby Avey und JP Schlegelmilch kennenlernte.\nSeit seinem Abschluss 2006 ist er in der Brooklyner Improvisationsszene aktiv\, und spielte mit zahlreichen renommierten Musiker*innen wie Tony Malaby\, Chris Speed\, Angelica Sanchez\, Stephan Crump und Brad Shepik. Durch seine langjährige Mitgliedschaft bei der Brass Band Slavic Soul Party erweiterte Warren seinen melodischen Ansatz um Elemente der Roma-Musik und arabischer Maqam-Traditionen.
