Sein musikalisches Erbe umfasst seinen Großvater\, den kubanischen Komponisten Chico O’Farrill\, und seinen Vater\, den Komponisten und Aktivisten Arturo O’Farrill.\nAdam ist ein gefragter Trompeter und hat mit Künstlern wie Hiromi\, Mary Halvorson und Vijay Iyer zusammengearbeitet.
