Lauer und Ehwald sind beide Improvisatoren und Komponisten mit einem europäischen Hintergrund. Robles ist eine bekannte Cajonera aus Lima\, Peru. Für Laura Robles war diese Begegnung der Beginn eines neuen musikalischen Konzepts\, das sie Anti Groove nennt. Es ist ein loser Schmelztiegel aus Wiederholung\, Morphing und Improvisation\, aus mündlicher Tradition und Moderne\, aus Tanz und Bewegungsfreiheit. In ihrer Prozesshaftigkeit verbindet sie die Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten der traditionellen Musik der peruanischen Küste mit rhythmischen und harmonischen Konzepten der Moderne. Lauer and Ehwald are both improvisers and composers with a European background. Robles is a renowned cajonera from Lima\, Peru. For Laura Robles this meeting was the beginning of a new musical concept\, which she calls Anti Groove. It is a loose melting pot of repetition\, morphing and improvisation\, of oral tradition and modernity\, of dance and freedom of movement. In its processiveness it combines the expressive possibilities of the traditional music of the Peruvian coast with rhythmic and harmonic concepts of the modern age. With its very particular approach to groove\, the Berlin based Trio creates a densely woven music of great improvisational freedom and breath.
