DESCRIPTION:Florian Fries – Tenorsaxophon\nLeandro Irarragorri – Piano\nNico Klöffer – Bass\nJonas Kaltenbach – Schlagzeug\n\n(english: see below) \nInformationen zu den Preisen\, Karten-Reservierungen und den Öffnungszeiten finden Sie hier.\nViel ist passiert in den letzten fünf Jahren und ich freue mich wahnsinnig\, diese Zeit mit einem besonderen Konzert abzuschließen.\nDas Programm für diesen Abend wird zum Großteil aus neuen eigenen Kompositionen bestehen\, die schon seit längerem in mir schlummern und dieses Jahr zum ersten Mal so richtig ihren Weg auf die Bühne finden. Einige dieser Stücke sind am Klavier entstanden\, das mein erstes Instrument war und kompositorisch eine große Inspirationsquelle für mich ist. Das Entdecken von Harmonien\, die mich faszinieren und in verschiedene Stimmungen versetzen\, hat großen Anteil in meinem bisherigen Schreibprozess.\nEbenso großen Anteil haben einige Musiker*innen & Bands\, die mich während meines Studiums und die Jahre davor inspiriert haben: Bill Evans\, Wayne Shorter\, Carla Bley\, Charlie Haden\, Bill Frisell\, Laura Mvula\, Niels Klein\, Expensive Magnets\, Deftones\, Billy Talent\, The Police\, Maurice Ravel\, und viele mehr.\nEs macht mich sehr glücklich\, eine neue Band mit drei wunderbaren Musikern und Freunden am Start zu haben. \n\nFlorian Fries – tenor saxophone\nLeandro Irarragorri – piano\nNico Klöffer – bass\nJonas Kaltenbach – drums \nInformation about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here. \nA lot has happened in the last five years and I am very happy to close this time with a special concert. \nThe programme for this evening will largely consist of new compositions of my own\, which have been lying dormant in me for a long time and will really find their way onto the stage for the first time this year. Some of these pieces were written on the piano\, which was my first instrument and is a great source of inspiration for me compositionally. Discovering harmonies that fascinate me and put me in different moods has played a big part in my writing process so far. \nEqually big part are some musicians & bands that inspired me during my studies and the years before: Bill Evans\, Wayne Shorter\, Carla Bley\, Charlie Haden\, Bill Frisell\, Laura Mvula\, Niels Klein\, Expensive Magnets\, Deftones\, Billy Talent\, The Police\, Maurice Ravel\, and many more. \nIt makes me very happy to present a new band with three wonderful musicians and friends.
