Unsere beiden Instrumente ermöglichen in ihrer Synthese einen weichen Mischklang\, von dem die Musik durchweg getragen wird. Dabei haben wir unsere eigene Art gefunden\, die Instrumente miteinander zu einem Klangkörper verschmelzen zu lassen\, mit dem wir ein breites Spektrum an Klangfarben bedienen. Die intime Besetzung erlaubt es uns\, in besonderem Maße einander zuzuhören und zusammenzuspielen. Bei all dem möchten wir die Zuhörenden mitnehmen und berühren.“ \nCarlotta Armbruster und  Lukas Langguth lernten sich 2023 in ihrer Zeit im Bundesjazzorchester kennen und spielen seitdem regelmäßig zusammen. 2025 waren die beiden Teilnehmer der Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy und spielten zwei Konzerte im großen Saal.\nIn ihrem Duo-Projekt versuchen sie\, diese gemeinsamen Erfahrungen musikalisch einzufangen.\nDer live-Mitschnitt und die am Folgetag anschließenden Aufnahmen finden im Rahmen des LOFT- Wettbewerbs recording project 2025 statt\, welchen das Duo vergangenes Jahr gewonnen hat. \nhttp://carlottaarmbruster.de \nhttp://lukas-langguth.com \n\nKann so ähnlich klingen: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCarlotta Armbruster – trombone\nLukas Langguth – piano\nFurther information about prices\, ticket reservations and our opening times can be found here.\n\n\n\n\n“In our duo\, we aim to create music in the moment that is characterized by a balanced blend of improvisational freedom and self-imposed guidelines. When combined\, our two instruments produce a soft blend of tones that carries the music throughout. In doing so\, we have found our own way of merging the instruments into a single sound\, allowing us to explore a wide spectrum of timbres. The intimate ensemble allows us to listen to one another and play together in a special way. Through all of this\, we aim to engage and move our listeners.” \nCarlotta Armbruster and Lukas Langguth met in 2023 while playing in the German National Jazz Orchestra and have been performing together regularly ever since. In 2025\, they both participated in the Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy and performed two concerts in the main hall.\nIn their duo project\, they seek to capture these shared experiences through music. \nThe live recording and the recordings on the following day will take place as part of the LOFT competition recording project 2025\, which the duo won last year.
