He first worked with Swiss musician Werner Hasler at the premiere of Boussole Animale at the Bern Music Festival—an encounter that brought together prepared piano\, sound distribution\, and live sampling. \nNow the three are developing a new joint setup that is uncharted territory for all of them: a field of sonic research involving a self-playing piano\, 4-channel sound distribution\, live sampling\, prepared instruments\, and live electronics. \nFor these two evenings at the Loft\, they are inviting two outstanding musicians from the Cologne improvisation scene: Elisabeth Coudoux (November 7th) and Jonas Engel (November 8th) to explore new spaces in a quartet setting.
