Manche Klänge trägt man bereits ein Leben lang mit sich, bis man merkt, dass es genau jene sind, wonach man stets auf der Suche ist.
Genau diesen Klängen gehen die beiden Musiker Roger Kintopf und Victor Fox auf den Grund. Aus Texturen, Konzepten und Kompositionen formen sie eine Klangwelt, die sie über einen Zeitraum von nun mehr als 3 Jahren immer wieder zusammen entwickelt, umgewandelt, erweitert und aufgebrochen haben. Im Fokus steht dabei der flexible Umgang mit der Musik, Klänge entstehen losgelöst von der intimen Instrumentierung. So steht die Musik von Kintopf/Fox in einem stetigen Wandel. Roger Kintopf und Victor Fox arbeiten mit diversen Spieltechniken abseits der traditionellen Spielweise ihrer Instrumente, sowie mit Präparationen am Instrument, welche insbesondere Kintopf’s Klangwelten definieren. Es entsteht ein einzigartiges Gefüge, in welchem die beiden Musiker in einen scheinbar endlosen Kosmos an unerforschten Ideen eintauchen.
In ihrer Musik bildet sich eine Essenz ihres musikalischen Verständnisses, welche auf diversen Einflüssen aus Neuer Musik, improvisierter Musik, Noise und der Jazztradition fußt.

Some sounds have been with you for a lifetime until you realize that they are exactly what you are always looking for.
It is precisely these sounds that the two musicians Roger Kintopf and Victor Fox get to the bottom of. From textures, concepts and compositions they form a world of sound, which they have developed, transformed, expanded and broken up again and again over a period of more than 3 years. The focus is on the flexible handling of the music, sounds are detached from the intimate instrumentation. The music of Kintopf / Fox is constantly changing. Roger Kintopf and Victor Fox work with various playing techniques beyond the traditional way of playing their instruments, as well as with preparations on the instrument, which in particular define Kintopf’s sound worlds. The result is a unique structure in which the two musicians immerse themselves in an apparently endless cosmos of unexplored ideas.
Her music forms an essence of her musical understanding, which is based on various influences from new music, improvised music, noise and the jazz tradition.
